Itauma called out by unbeaten knockout artist.

If there is one fighter who most of the boxing world believe will fulfil his potential, it is Moses Itauma, the unbeaten 21-year-old big man from England.

Turning professional at the age of 18 in January of 2023, the young Briton instantly gained attention for his sheer destructive potential and deceptive athleticism.

Itauma took care of both Dillian Whyte and Demsey McKean in a single round each, Mariusz Wach in two rounds, and Jermaine Franklin in five rounds.

Despite having 14 total fights, the last time he went as far as the 6th round was the same year he turned professional, and he has only been that far on two occasions. But in his next fight, he faces the biggest test of his career in the experienced and world-rated contender Filip Hrgovic.

Itauma’s bout with Hrgovic will be contested for the vacant IBF heavyweight title, presenting the Englishman with the opportunity to prove that the hype surrounding him is very much real.

But of course, if he does win, there will still be a number of doubters and people who believe they would have the beating of Itauma, as is inevitably the case in boxing.

One of these people is fellow heavyweight and former Olympian Teremoana Teremoana, a competitor from Australia who has won all 11 of his professional fights by knockout.

“When I think of him, he’s too small. He won’t be able to match me. My attributes is better”, Teremoana told DAZN News. “I’m a real heavyweight, 120 kilos. I walk around, like, tryin’ to lose weight, basically.”

He ultimately stated, “Yeah, he’s a good fighter–there’s a lot of good fighters in this world–but eventually, when we come to the point where we clash, I believe I’m gonna be on top and I believe I’m gonna get the job done.”

The 28-year-old Teremoana will be headlining in his home country on the 12th of August against America’s hard-hitting DeAndre Savage.
