Unbeaten British heavyweight to fight on Moses Itauma vs. Filip Hrgovic undercard

Undefeated Briton to fight world-ranked heavyweight contender.

Moses Itauma’s upcoming showdown with Filip Hrgovic is one of the most anticipated bouts on the boxing calendar. For the vacant IBF heavyweight championship, the fight sees a much-hyped up-and-comer aiming to prove what he’s got against a proven contender at the world level.

The intrigue lies in whether Itauma is truly as good as many believe him to be or if maybe this is all too soon for him and his youth and inexperience will be his downfall.

Hrgovic has technical ability, amateur pedigree, and one of the very best chins anywhere in boxing. Should Itauma defeat the Croatian and become world champion, it will prove a whole lot.

Many think that Hrgovic will ask questions of Itauma, though. If he does, it will be up to the young Briton to provide the answers, for he will have them if the excitement surrounding him is legitimate.

But before the main event gets underway, there will, of course, be plenty of entertainment on the undercard. Fights such as Aloys Junior vs. Mike Pérez and Sam Noakes vs. Denys Berinchyk provide for just a portion of the action.

It was confirmed that Guido Vianello (14-3-1, 12 KOs) would be appearing on the show– having recently signed with Queensberry Promotions–with his inclusion being announced shortly after his rumoured opponent (David Adeleye) parted ways with Queensberry.

It has now been made official that Vianello will indeed be fighting a British heavyweight. Only, it will not be Adeleye.

Instead, the Italian will be locking horns with Moses Jolly (12-0, 8 KOs), an unbeaten 30-year-old from Swansea, Wales, who will be appearing on the first major card of his career.

On a night that will be all about one Moses, perhaps Jolly can ensure it will also be about another.
