Tyson Fury walks lion ahead of Arslanbek Makhmudov clash

The Briton was spotted with an unexpected guest during his training camp.

Tyson Fury is making his comeback against Arslanbek ‘The Lion’ Makhmudov on April 11.

The rivals will lace up their gloves at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with the event being broadcast live on Netflix.

While Makhmudov is widely known for the unusual story of having once wrestled a bear, the ‘Gypsy King’ has shown he isn’t afraid of his power.

In fact, as Fury prepares to meet ‘The Lion’ in the ring, he has taken the king of the jungle out for a stroll on a leash.

During a video shared on Instagram of the moment, Fury can be heard saying: ‘Good boy, good boy. He’s a good boy, he is. He’s only a little Simba cat.”

Next month will mark the first time Tyson Fury has fought in front of home fans since 2022.

Following a 16-month hiatus, he is vowing to return to winning ways, having suffered back-to-back defeats to Oleksandr Usyk in his last outings.

Ahead of his comeback, Fury said: “I have a massive stacked calendar, minimum three fights this year.

“I have to get past this fella and stay on track and performing.

“There are plenty of names on the list, but I am not the hunted one anymore.

“I am the hunter.”

The main event is certainly shaping up to be an exciting battle.

Elsewhere, Conor Benn features on the co-main event as he takes on two-time former super-lightweight world champion Regis Prograis.
