Tyson Fury declares changes to his training camp ahead of his return to the sport against Arslanbek Makhmudov on April 11th.
Tyson Fury is making adjustments to his training camp ahead of his eagerly anticipated return to the sport after 15 long months away.
The Gypsy King retired shortly after back to back narrow defeats to the all time great Oleksandr Usyk.
However, Fury is back and will fight Arslanbek Makhmudov on April 11th at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
It will be Fury’s first fight in the UK for over three years, the fight will be streamed live on Netflix globally.
In the launch press conference for the fight, Fury explained changes to his camp that he is taking ahead of his return.
“My weight can be deceived”
“I’m training away”.
“Why am I in Thailand training, when you wake up in England, and it’s p*ssing it down, it makes you feel miserable”.
“When I wake up in Thailand, and it’s 30 degrees outside, I’m like this is awesome, I want to go training”.
“If you wake up in the rain, you feel sh*t, if you wake up in the sun, you feel happy.
“That’s why I am in Thailand”.
Tyson Fury has revealed he has been “really enjoying his training”.
Promoter Frank Warren believes that this is the best shape he’s ever seen the Gypsy King in.
In complete contrast, his opponent Arslanbek Makhmudov has been training in the mountains in Russia, before moving to Canada where he resides from shortly to finish his camp.
Whether Fury has moved on from trainer Sugar Hill Steward or not is yet to be seen,
Father of the Gypsy King John Fury has publicly declared his desire to play a role in the camp, and caused a viral commotion at today’s launch press conference, with an explicit rant at the boxing world.
