The heavyweight rivals continue to evade each other’s advances.
Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua are both set to return to the ring this weekend.
The heavyweight stars are preparing for their long-awaited showdown, but both fighters are facing tests before their potential clash.
Fury will first take on Mariusz Wach in Thailand on Friday night, then Joshua returns to action on Saturday, facing Kristian Prenga in Saudi Arabia.
With their blockbuster clash nearing, Joshua invited Fury to his fight as tensions continue to build between them.
However, Fury’s manager, Spencer Brown, stated that his fighter will not be present in Jeddah.
Despite that, fans continued to speculate over whether or not ‘The Gypsy King’ intends to make a cameo.
Fury has since explained to iFL TV: “I’m not going.
“I’m going home to the Isle of Man to my wife and kids, who I’ve been away from for 10 weeks.
“I’m not interested at all, I’ve got my own business to deal with, and he’s got his own business to deal with.
“It’s been 10 years in the making, so I’m sure we can wait another few months.”
What else did Tyson Fury say?
The rivals have been embroiled in a verbal back-and-forth for years.
But it appears a deal has finally been penned by both camps that will see them sharing the ring before the year is out.
Fury added: “Until that fight happens and I walk into the ring, I’m not convinced it does.
“I just can’t see him sat on a table with me. I think he wouldn’t do it, it’ll be bombardment.
“He didn’t get in the ring with me the other week, so how is he going to see me at a press conference?
“I think he’s a bottle-job flapper and a chinless wonder.”
