Tyson Fury issues warning to Arslanbek Makhmudov

The British star is eager to lace up the gloves again to prove his capability.

Tyson Fury is gearing up to meet Arslanbek Makhmudov in the ring on Saturday, April 11.

The pair are going head-to-head at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

While Fury has been out of action since suffering back-to-back losses at the hands of Oleksandr Usyk, the Morecambe native is confident he will return to winning ways.

He told Sky Sports: “All I can say is Makmudov’s in some serious bother.

“He’s in trouble. Makhmudov’s in trouble.

“He’s a tough man, he’s had a couple of losses like myself, and he’s had a lot of knockouts, 20 odd knockouts.

“We’re similar age, similar size, similar weight, similar record.

“I was world champion, he was No 2 in the rankings when I was WBC champion.

“He was one of the fights I got offered, actually.

“So now we’re actually doing it, so here we go.

“Let’s throw down. May the best man win.”

Tyson Fury is well aware that Makhmudov is a tough opponent to face after a 16-month hiatus.

The Russian is entering the bout with an impressive record and a reputation for power and resilience, making this encounter a true test of Fury’s abilities.

Fans around the world are eagerly anticipating the clash, which not only promises explosive action inside the ring but also offers a showcase of strategy, endurance, and raw determination.

With both fighters motivated to make a mark, their showdown is shaping up to be one of the standout moments in the boxing calendar.
