The Ring Magazine belt set to be on the line for unification fight

The Ring Magazine belt will be on the line for the all British unification lightweight title fight set to take place in April in London

The all British lightweight unification fight between Caroline Dubois (12-0-1, 5ko’s) and Terri Harper (16-2-2, 6ko’s) has just got bigger.

It will headline Jake Paul and Most Valuable Promotion’s (MVP) inaugural show on UK soil.

Live on Sky Sports, the event will take place at the Olympia in London on April 5th.

Dubois and Harper are leading a stacked card full of fights with world title ramifications.

Hometown hero Ellie Scotney (11-0) will face Mayelli Flores Mosquero (13-1-1, 4ko’s) for the undisputed super bantamweight world titles.

In addition to this, Chantelle Cameron will attempt to become a world champion all over again, with Emma Dolan and Shannon Courtenay also featuring.

Lightweight is one of women’s boxings most exciting divisions.

A potential further unification with 2025 breakout star Elif Nur Turhan (13-0, 8ko’s) could be next for the winner.

Caroline Dubois has stated her desire to do this in 2026.

Victory in April will crown her as the WBC, WBO and now Ring Magazine lightweight champion.

A panel consisting of 12 people unanimously voted in favour of the vacant Ring Magazine championship being on the line.

The panel also voted in favour of another fight, Yokasta Valle vs. Yuko Kuroki later in the month.

Valle-Kuroki is slated for April 18 in Las Vegas, though nothing has been announced by a lead promoter at the time of publication.
