Next Zuffa Boxing show announced.
On Sunday, Zuffa Boxing announced their 6th show since properly commencing their entry into the sport.
In their short time in boxing, Zuffa have already put on cards such as Jai Opetaia vs. Brandon Glanton, and their 5th show (Andres Cortes vs. Eridson Garcia) took place just the other night.
They have now revealed that their newest event will feature a headline fight between Serhii Bohachuk (27-3, 24 KOs) and Shane Mosley Jr. (22-5, 12 KOs).
Bohachuk is a Ukrainian puncher who scored his first 23 wins inside the distance before going the full 12 in a victory over Brian Mendoza for the WBC interim super-welterweight title.
He then lost a debatable decision to Vergil Ortiz Jr., dropping the American twice in the process. A stoppage over Ishmael Davis led to a decision over Mykal Fox, then a twin defeat in a rematch with Brandon Adams on the Canelo Álvarez vs. Terence Crawford undercard.
Last time out, Bohachuk appeared on Zuffa Boxing 2, getting the split-decision nod over Radzhab Butaev in an entertaining scrap.
Mosley Jr. is the son of former three-weight world champion and Hall-of-Famer Shane Mosley. He, too, has a loss to Brandon Adams, but he also holds wins over Gabriel Rosado and a past-prime Daniel Jacobs.
Mosley Jr. has also gone the distance with Jason Quigley, and when last seen, he lost a decision to Jesus Ramos Jr. for the WBC interim middleweight title on the Isaac Cruz vs. Lamont Roach Jr. card in December.
Also on the card is a welterweight showdown between Julian Rodriguez (25-1, 15 KOs) and James Perella (21-0, 15 KOs), while at middleweight, Misael Rodríguez (16-0, 8 KOs) squares off with Andreas Katzourakis (16-0, 11 KOs).
The action will take place on the 10th of May at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.
