Ryan Garcia extends ‘last chance’ offer to Isaac Cruz

The 28-year-old went from doubting his rival to offering him a fight in the space of a few hours.

Ryan Garcia predicted on the DAZN broadcast that Isaac Cruz would lose to Nestor Bravo, a call that quickly looked misguided.

His prediction also hinted at a potential Garcia-Cruz showdown should ‘Pitbull’ win, which he duly did.

After he stopped Bravo in the sixth round, Cruz called for a fight against his bitter rival, Garcia.

Garcia then responded via X: “Bravo ‘pit bull’ proved me wrong tonight.

“Let’s do this in December. The offer is on the table.

“I can tame a lion, I’m not too concerned about taming a pit bull.”

He later added: “To make this very clear to the fans, I’ve asked to fight ‘pit bull’ twice, and one time he was my mandatory, and he has denied it twice.

“This will be my last time ever attempting to give him a chance.

“My word is very clear, and I plan with my whole heart to follow it.

“If he denies, I’ll never entertain this again.”
