Queensberry Promotions officially announce the undercard for Fabio Wardley vs. Daniel Dubois

Cracking undercard for Wardley vs. Dubois is officially announced.

The undercard for Fabio Wardley vs. Daniel Dubois has been officially unveiled by Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions.

The hard-hitting heavyweight main event stands entirely on its own, as the fight is simply that outstanding. However, every main attraction needs a supporting cast, and Wardley-Dubois is no different.

Well, Queensberry have now officially revealed the undercard, and it is a stacked line-up of action.

First up is the co-main event, which features Jared Anderson (18-1, 15 KOs) taking on Solomon Dacres (10-1, 3 KOs).

Anderson was regarded as the biggest heavyweight prospect in America until a one-sided stoppage loss to Martin Bakole. He has been out of the ring for a year since a decision over Marios Kollias, but he will be making his British debut against Dacres in what is also his first fight since a co-promotional signing with Queensberry.

Dacres is the former English heavyweight champion, a status he defended twice before a first-round stoppage defeat to David Adeleye. He has since appeared on the Oleksandr Usyk vs. Daniel Dubois 2 undercard, impressively outboxing the undefeated Vladyslav Sirenko to upset the odds.

Before Anderson-Dacres, Jack ‘The Demoliton Man’ Rafferty (26-0-1, 17 KOs) will throw down with Ekow ‘The Engine’ Essuman (22-2, 8 KOs).

Rafferty is an all-action puncher who picked up the British and Commonwealth titles at super-lightweight (this fight will be taking place at welterweight). After a trio of stoppages over Henry Turner, Reece MacMillan, and Cory O’Regan, Rafferty drew with Mark Chamberlain in a fight that ranked as one of the very best of 2025.

Essuman is the former British and Commonwealth welterweight champion, known for his relentless workrate and breathtaking stamina. After a number of defences over domestic opposition, Essuman was outboxed by Harry Scarff. Two action-packed wins over Owen Cooper and Ben Vaughan would follow before Essuman picked up the biggest win of his career against Josh Taylor.

When Essuman last appeared on the Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn 2 undercard, he was stopped by Jack Catterall. However, his style should blend exceptionally with Rafferty’s, as they both do nothing but get into absolute tear-ups.

Next is a light-heavyweight collision between Liam Cameron (24-7-1, 10 KOs) and Bradley Rea (21-2, 10 KOs).

Cameron’s story is a long one, but after returning from a lengthy ban from the sport, he would score three victories before battling to a split-decision loss against Lyndon Arthur.

Cameron would then gain popularity from a polarising draw with unbeaten prospect Ben Whittaker, a contest that saw both men topple over the ropes and many people begin to consider Whittaker as overrated.

Cameron was the subject of a controversial stoppage in his rematch with Whittaker, but returned in November with a contentious victory over Troy Jones.

Rea is a former super-middleweight who also unsuccessfully challenged Tyler Denny for the English middleweight title. In June of 2025, he scored a thrilling victory over Shakan Pitters to become the European light-heavyweight champion. In November, he lost to Lyndon Arthur despite scoring a heavy knockdown early, a fight that appeared on the same card as Cameron’s win over Jones.

Lastly of the confirmed fights, Khaleel Majid (16-0, 4 KOs) faces an acid test in the form of Gavin Gwynne (18-4-2, 5 KOs).

Majid engaged in a high-octane affair with the fellow unbeaten Alex Murphy in the first third of 2025, a fight that was won by Majid and set some of the highest punch stats for any fight of that year. Last time out, Majid beat David Ryan on the same card that Liam Cameron and Bradley Rea last fought on.

Gwynne has long been a thorn in the side of British lightweights, and following a 2024 stoppage loss to Mark Chamberlain, he engaged in a two-fight series with the young and undefeated Cameron Vuong. The first of these ended in a debated victory for Vuong, while the second (Gwynne’s most recent fight) ended in a draw.

In conclusion, it’s a fantastic undercard to support a superb main event, and every single fight on the show has the potential to be combustive to the extreme.

The action takes place at Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena on the 9th of May.
