The Deontay Wilder vs Derek Chisora scheduled for April 4th will take place on DAZN PPV, with a price point revealed.
Deontay Wilder and Derek Chisora are set to meet in the ring on April 4th at the O2 arena in London, in a fight that is being billed as 100 live on DAZN PPV.
MFPro will be the lead promoter of this bout, MFPro are a sister company of Misfits Boxing, and are fronted by Kalle Sauerland.
The fight will be both fighters 50th professional outings, in a fight tipped as winner stays on.
Chisora, in his 40s now, is on a run of impressive victories, defeating Joe Joyce and Otto Wallin consecutively.
Nicknamed as ‘War’, Chisora has had calls for him to retire for close to a decade now, but in true Derek Chisora style, he has continued to defy the odds and will now enter the ring with the former WBC heavyweight champion.
Deontay Wilder is widely regarded as one of the most ferocious punchers in the sports history.
Entering the sport as an adult, Wilder boxed to provide for his family.
His unorthodox technique and heavy hands has seen him win by knockout in 43 of his 44 victories, with knockouts against Robert Helenius and Luiz Ortiz some of his finest.
However, in recent times the Bronze Bomber has looked a shell of his former self.
A brutal trilogy with Tyson Fury is believed to have took a lot out of Wilder, and back to back defeats to Jospeh Parker and Zhilei Zhang support this.
In the final chapter of both fighters career, this fight is the last chance to catapult the winners name to challenging for world title honours.
The bout will be on DAZN PPV at a price point of £24.99 in the UK.
DAZN ultimate subscribers will have this fight included as a part of their subscription.
The two main event fighters were very complimentary of each other in the launch press conference, however closer to fight night this may change.
