Ed Pereira’s iVB Boxing is set to bring fights back to the fans with YouTube shows, live entertainment, and elite fighters, joining a new wave of boxing promotions in 2026.
In recent years, the sport has seen no shortage of flashy arrivals talking up revolutions — Triller, BLK Prime and others all promised the future, only to fade just as quickly as they arrived.
Big claims, bigger budgets, and very little lasting impact.
So when a new name starts making noise, eyebrows naturally rise.
Enter Ed Pereira.
The Welshman is the latest promoter ready to ruffle feathers, armed with ambitions that sound almost too good to be true.
Pereira, CEO of newly launched iVisit Boxing, isn’t talking about slow builds or modest launches—he’s openly targeting a record-breaking live gate of more than 135,000 fans for an event in San Francisco.
The first planned event is set for July 11th at the Civic Centre.
Pereira’s iVisit Boxing has struck a deal with YouTube to bring their events directly to fans.
iVB Boxing has stated that its goal is to bring boxing back to the fans, pairing top fighters with live entertainment in cities full of character and creating events that are accessible, memorable, and rooted in the community.
Having worked previously with Riyadh Season on May’s Times Square card featuring Rolly Romero, Ryan Garcia, and Devin Haney, Pereira believes boxing’s biggest problem isn’t talent—it’s exposure.
His solution is taking the sport back to the fans through YouTube, with a series of shows planned.
So far, iVB Boxing hasn’t announced any fights.
While Boxing Scene has reported online speculation about a possible heavyweight clash between Oleksandr Usyk and Deontay Wilder, Pereira would not confirm any matchups, leaving fans to wait for the official announcements.
Whether Pereira can deliver on his big promises remains to be seen, but one thing is clear – he’s shaking up the conversation around boxing.
iVB Boxing isn’t the only new promotion launching this year—Zuffa Boxing is also entering the scene—highlighting a fresh wave of competition and innovation in the sport.
With a modern, fan-focused approach and a high-profile YouTube deal, iVB is positioning itself as a bold alternative in a sport hungry for new energy.
Fans will have to wait for the full fight cards, but Pereira’s vision has already put him on the radar, and the boxing world will be watching closely.
