Matchroom announce three shows for the second half of 2026.
Matchroom Boxing have officially announced three shows as part of their latter-year schedule, and they’re all bouts on British soil.
The first of these is a European middleweight title fight between George Liddard (14-0, 8 KOs) and Dario Morello (26-1, 4 KOs).
That bill will also feature a Commonwealth middleweight title fight between Jimmy Sains (12-0, 10 KOs) and Tom Cowling (15-1, 4 KOs), an English middleweight title fight between Leli Buttigieg (12-0, 4 KOs) and P. A. Gordon (9-0, 1 KO), and a female Commonwealth featherweight title fight between Tiah Mai-Ayton (6-0, 5 KOs) and Ellie Hellewell (7-1-1, 1 KO).
That is in addition to appearances from Pat McCormack (8-1, 6 KOs), Harley Burrows (1-0, 0 KOs), Louie Ward (2-0, 0 KOs), Connor Mitchell (3-0, 2 KOs), and Ioan Croft (6-0, 3 KOs).
That will be at the York Hall in London on the 22nd of August.
The second show is the long-awaited British and Commonwealth cruiserweight clash between Pat Brown (6-0, 6 KOs) and John Hedges (12-0, 3 KOs). A fascinating blend of styles, this bout pits a hard-hitting former Olympian with a 100% knockout ratio against an undefeated 6’6″ southpaw technician.
That will be in Manchester on the 19th of September.
The third affair is the return of Ben Whittaker (12-0-1, 9 KOs), who will be facing Conor Wallace (17-1, 12 KOs) in a final eliminator for Dmitry Bivol’s IBF light-heavyweight title.
That will be going down in Birmingham on the 3rd of October.
