Lennox Lewis reveals the ‘dangers’ Arslanbek Makhmudov poses to Tyson Fury

Lennox Lewis has explained the dangers Tyson Fury will face fighting Russian heavyweight Arslanbek Makhmudov

Lewis who was born in London, ended his career as 41-2-1, 32ko’s. He defeated everyone he faced in his ring and has gone down as one of the greatest heavyweights of all time.

Nicknamed as the Lion, Lewis featured on the broadcast for the Tyson Fury vs Arslanbek Makhmudov press conference live on Netflix.

This will be Fury’s first fight in 15 months.

The Gypsy King retired for the fifth time in his career shortly after successive defeats to Oleksandr Usyk.

With retirements a theme of the 6″9 heavyweight’s career, fans never truly believed he was gone for good.

Fury and his team have a big 2026 planned, with a desire to fight three times this calendar year.

At the press conference yesterday, Fury declared that boxing has been on a downward trajectory since his retirement, and that he has returned to “make boxing great again”.

Before any world title fights, Fury has to take care of the Russian monster on April 11th.

Lennox Lewis has tipped Makhmudov to cause Fury problems.

Speaking to Pro Boxing Fans, Lewis declared: “It’s a dangerous fight, you know”.

“Anytime you box a guy and he’s a same size and you know he can throw a good punch its always a dangerous fight”.

“I think Tyson Fury has the skills to stay away from him and make it a good fight and show his boxing ability”.

“Makhmudov is one-dimensional but he’s tough and he believes its his time”.

“He’s going to go for it and that’s the recipe for a good fight”.

Makhmudov defeated British cult hero David Allen last time out.
