Kell Brook boasts remarkable body transformation ahead of comeback

The former IBF Welterweight champion has certainly been working hard behind the scenes.

Kell Brook has not fought since he stopped Amir Khan back in 2022.

Although he announced last year that he would be returning to the ring to honour the late Ricky Hatton.

Hatton was gearing up to fight Eisa Al Dah, but after his death, Brook volunteered to step up and take his place on the card.

Now, the 39-year-old is set to meet the UAE prospect on July 18th at Manchester’s AO Arena.

Brook has thrown himself back into training to ensure he is fighting fit for his comeback bout.

Footage detailing the gruelling process has been uploaded to Instagram by trainer Dominic Ingle.

Ingle captioned the post: “24 weeks ago, a video was circulating that was believed to be an A.l image of @specialkellbrook back in training after 3 and a half years out of the ring.

“It was, in fact, the start of another fight camp.

“But what a transformation after nearly 6 months back in the gym and nearing his 40th Birthday in May.

“It’s all about turning up, trusting the process, following the plan and having self-belief. The results will come.

“Positioning yourself in world-class facilities where the set-up allows you to get the work done efficiently in familiar surroundings.”

Brook’s clash with Al Dah was originally set for February 13 in Dubai, but it was first postponed to April 11 and then delayed once more.

Organisers of the event, Agenda Dubai, announced that the fight could no longer be held in Dubai because of temporary operational and travel restrictions in the United Arab Emirates.

These were introduced after a series of drone attacks on the country.

A statement from Agenda Dubai founder, Martin P. Gravestock, said: “Dubai remains an outstanding international host city.

“However, if the fighters cannot come to Dubai, then we’ll bring the fight to Manchester – to Ricky’s home.”
