Johnny Fisher to officially headline Zuffa Boxing card

Fisher to officially make his Zuffa debut.

The Zuffa Boxing debut of Johnny Fisher (14-1, 12 KOs) was made official earlier today, with the opponent of the fan-favourite heavyweight set to be announced in the next few days.

The card (Zuffa Boxing 11) will feature a co-main event between England’s former WBA light-heavyweight title challenger Craig Richards (20-4-1, 13 KOs) and Serbia’s former IBF light-heavyweight title challenger Radivoje Kalajdzic (30-3, 22 KOs).

Since a loss to Willy Hutchinson two years ago, Richards has gotten back on track with knockout victories over Padraig McCrory and Dan Azeez, and he now faces a tough–yet exciting–opponent in his Zuffa debut.

Kalajdzic is a long-time 175-pound contender who has faced a career revival in recent times after a close decision loss to David Morrell and a thrilling victory over former world champion Oleksandr Gvozdyk, a fight that took place on the Zuffa Boxing 2 show and saw Kalajdzic recover from two knockdowns to stop his foe.

Elsewhere on the card, there is an all-British banger between former English super-welterweight champion Lee Cutler (16-2, 8 KOs) and former two-weight domestic titlist Louis Greene (19-4, 12 KOs).

Cutler has fought the likes of Sam Eggington and Bradley Rea, also owning victories over Stephen McKenna and Aaron Sutton. Greene, meanwhile, has rumbled with Lewis Crocker, Harry Scarff, Sam Gilley, and Jack McGann.

The rest of the announced show will feature appearances from professional debutants Fred Pullen and Kayla Allen, Lancashire welterweight Alex MaxMillan (4-0, 3 KOs), and another Lancastrian in the form of light-heavyweight Leon Hughes (5-0, 4 KOs), all of whom have yet to have their opponents revealed.

The action will be taking place on the 26th of September at the Copper Box Arena in London, England.
