John Fury sends official call-out message to Carl Froch to fight on Tyson Fury undercard in 8 weeks time at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
The Fury’s are back in town, and in true Fury fashion they are making plenty of noise.
Tyson Fury is facing Arslanbek Makhmudov on April 11th at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
It will be the Gypsy King’s first fight in 15 months, after successive defeats to Oleksandr Usyk in 2024.
His return to the sport felt inevitable, and Team Fury have big plans for 2026.
Fury aims to become three time heavyweight champion of the world, targeting the Ukrainian king for a trilogy.
Father of Tyson John Fury is now back in and around his sons career, after being exiled for the Usyk rematch, and it didn’t take long for him to make some noise.
John Fury went on a verbal rampage just a matter of minutes before the press conference kicked off, with the majority of words aimed at Carl Froch.
Froch who is a three time world champion and boxing hall of famer was working on the broadcast for Netflix.
The viral clip showed John Fury declaring his desire to fight Carl Froch.
John Fury has now double downed on this, and has sent a call-out message to the Cobra.
Fury via Instagram stated: “This is the message you’ve all been waiting for”.
“Carl the ‘worm’ Froch, you’ve got yourself a fight”.
“I’ll fight you at Tottenham in 8 weeks time”.
“I know you’re a sh*thouse, I know you’re not a man”.
“I’ll laugh at you when you hit me”.
“You’ve got yourself a fight, you can fight the father of the best heavyweight in the world”.
“I would not disgrace my son, by letting a bum like you get anywhere near me”.
“I don’t need 6 months training, let’s get it on”.
Froch was rumoured to make a return in 2025 against Darren Till, but the man who finished his career knocking out George Groves in front of 80,000 people at Wembley Stadium decided against returning the ring.
