Social media star’s promotional company teases big announcement.
MVP (Most Valuable Promotions)–the promotional company owned by Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian–has started to become a major player in the boxing market.
Previously starting out by featuring Paul’s novelty events, it has branched out into showcasing more serious boxing and has essentially become the home for the women’s side of the sport.
Its upcoming show, headlined by Caroline Dubois vs. Terri Harper, features a stacked bill of action with three other female world title fights, including Chantelle Cameron and Ellie Scotney’s undisputed championship fight.
Indeed, the company has made many interested in women’s boxing when they weren’t otherwise, which is great for the sport as a whole.
Most prominently, MVP had a hand in all three fights between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano, which set all-time records for women’s fights.
While Taylor won all three fights, each bout provided its own unique style of action, with two of them arguably being the best female fights od the last few decades.
Now the company is teasing some big news that is set to be announced very soon. Tomorrow, in fact.
This announcement will arrive in the form of a press conference that will be taking place at Madison Square Garden, New York, United States.
The press conference will be streaming live on MVP’s YouTube channel at 11:00 AM EST (4:00 PM GMT).
Whatever the announcement is, Nakisa Bidarian has claimed it to be “big news” and also confirmed that there will be a big announcement on Monday, as well.
Whether a fight announcement, a new signing, or anything else, it will be interesting to see what MVP has in store as it continues to make further strides in the sport.
