Jake Paul’s comeback plans could include a shot at an old foe on UK soil.
Jake Paul is currently recovering from the double-broken jaw that he suffered in his heavyweight showdown with Anthony Joshua last December.
Following the brutal stoppage loss, many called for Paul to hang up his gloves for good.
But the 29-year-old remained insistent that he would be returning to compete in the cruiserweight division at some point in 2026.
As attention turns to who he will face off with next, his manager Nakisa Bidarian has shed some light on his fighter’s plans.
The co-founder of Most Valuable Promotions told Sky Sports: “He wants to prove to the world that he can beat Tommy Fury.
“Jake, before Joshua, had one loss on his record, and that was Tommy Fury. I would love for that fight to happen because I think it’s a great barometer of how far Jake has come.
“I don’t think he [Fury] has developed as much as Jake has over the last three years. Because he hasn’t been as focused on boxing.
“I would love for that fight to happen.”
Since beating Paul, Fury has fought just twice, winning both by unanimous decision.
Paul, meanwhile, has beaten six of the seven opponents he has faced since losing their 2023 clash.
The only other boxer to hand him a defeat was former two-time world champion Anthony Joshua.
Now the YouTuber-turned-boxer is gearing up to hopefully return to winning ways in his next outing, whoever that may be against.
Bidarian continued: “He wants to come back. He’s asking me to start negotiating some fights.
“I think anywhere from August to November, you can expect Jake Paul to be back in the boxing ring.
“I want him to come to the UK and fight. That’s what I would love to see.
“That’s really going to be a part of the conversation. I would love for Jake Paul to come do a fight in the UK.”
Jake Paul has suggested he would be keen to take the Briton the full 12 rounds if they were to meet again.
Although that is a feat that Fury (11-0, 4 KOs) has yet to attempt in his professional career.
According to the American, ‘TNT’ has already turned down a $15 million offer to make the fight happen.
While both fighters have teased a rematch, negotiations have so far amounted to little more than verbal sparring.
Although that may not be the case for much longer, a rematch with Fury certainly promises to be another blockbuster.
