Harlem Eubank makes his return against dangerous Frenchman.
Harlem Eubank (nephew of Chris Eubank and cousin of Chris Eubank Jr.) has, much like other fighting members of his family, had to live with the fact that he is related to a legend of boxing.
While fighters such as this instantly have many pairs of eyes on them due to their famous relative, they also inevitably have to bear the weight of being compared to them.
This can make it hard for boxers such as Harlem to establish their own profiles, but with the right ability and management, this can become much easier.
It just so happens that Harlem is a very technically gifted fighter who has appeared a number of times on terrestrial television due to his time on Channel 5 coming up.
Last year, he appeared in the biggest fight of his career against Jack Catterall, being outboxed over 7 rounds and ultimately losing a technical decision.
Returning from his very first defeat, Harlem thoroughly outclassed Josh Wagner in November, and now he is set for what should be his toughest test since his encounter with Catterall.
It was announced earlier today that Harlem Eubank (22-1, 9 KOs) will be making his return against David Papot (30-1-1, 5 KOs), a dangerous Frenchman who also possesses a win over Wagner.
In September, Papot proved to be all sorts of problematic for Liam Paro, the former IBF super-lightweight champion who is scheduled to challenge IBF welterweight champion Lewis Crocker next month.
That close decision defeat to the world-class Australian has led some to predict that Papot may very well defeat Eubank.
The truth shall be revealed on the 18th of July at the Copper Box Arena in London, England.
