Golden Boy Promotions announce multi-year extension with DAZN

Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions have announced a multi-year contract extension with broadcaster DAZN

DAZN are off to a flyer in 2026.

With all the talk being about ZUFFA Boxing and Dana White entering the sport, the existing parties had to do something.

‘The global home of boxing’, DAZN now have four of the most prominent and powerful boxing promotions in the sport under contract.

A broadcast platform that was once laughed out of town by the old-guard.

It is now home to Matchroom Boxing, Queensberry Promotions, Top Rank and Golden Boy Promotions.

Just last week it was Top Rank announcing their multi-year deal with the platform.

Now it’s Golden Boy Promotions turn.

Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy are home to some of North America’s greatest talent.

The likes of Ryan Garcia, Gilberto Ramirez, Arnold Barboza and more are all signed to the promotion.

Their previous contract with DAZN expired recently, and it seemed their involvement in preventing the Jaron Ennis vs Vergil Ortiz Jr may impact their future deal with the broadcaster.

These rumours have officially been put to bed today however, as Golden Boy Promotions have inked a multi-year extension with DAZN.

With all these powerhouses sharing a broadcaster, cross-promotional fights is a necessity.

In previous years, a common roadblock in negotiations was always the broadcaster.

Fans are hoping that the threat of Dana White and ZUFFA Boxing has awoken the existing promoters into making the best possible fights.

Our sources suggest that an announcement for Xander Zayas vs Jaron Ennis is imminent.

This Top Rank and Matchroom co-promotion could be a catalyst for cross-promotional fights in 2026.
