Zuffa unveil full Bohachuk vs. Mosley Jr. card.
On the 10th of May, we will see Zuffa Boxing 6, the newest event under Zuffa that will be headlined by Serhii Bohachuk and Shane Mosley Jr., who will be throwing down at middleweight.
Bohachuk returns from his defeat to Brandon Adams, making his 160-pound debut. In front of him, he will have Mosley Jr., who is returning from his loss at super-middleweight to Jesus Ramos.
Already announced for the main card were a welterweight affair between Julian Rodriguez and James Perella and another middleweight matchup featuring the duo of Misael Rodríguez and Andreas Katzourakis, both unbeaten in 16 fights.
However, Zuffa have now revealed the entire preliminary line-up for their show, starting with Uzbekistani debutant Rakhmatullo Boymatov facing off against Alarenz Reynolds (9-1, 6 KOs) at light-heavyweight.
Next up is an all-California bout at bantamweight between Emiliano Cardenas (10-0, 4 KOs) and Alexis Alvarado (9-1, 5 KOs), which will immediately precede a showdown of the big men.
21-year-old heavyweight Damazion Vanhouter (11-0, 8 KOs) will be hoping to continue his unbeaten record against Raphael Murphy (18-1, 14 KOs), a 40-year-old who resides in Texas.
After that, young southpaw Justin Viloria (12-0, 8 KOs) will square off against César Ortiz Castellanos (12-0-2, 9 KOs), both 21 and both putting their unbeaten records on the line.
And to conclude the preliminary portion, 175-pound Frenchman Raphael Monny (9-0, 3 KOs) will be making the first trip outside of his home country when he throws hands with Suray Mahmutovic (8-1-1, 6 KOs).
If there’s one thing Zuffa’s events have proven, it’s that you don’t need household names to produce some fantastic action. Any boxer–regardless of status and record–can be in an entertaining fight if they just have the right opponent.
