Full Smith vs. Puello undercard unveiled.
Dalton Smith was originally meant to make the first defence of his WBC super-lightweight title against mandatory challenger Alberto Puello in June, but the fight was pulled after Smith suffered an injury.
Now rescheduled for October, the two will be throwing down at the Utilita Arena in Smith’s hometown of Sheffield, and the undercard to their world title fight has now officially been revealed.
In the co-main event, recent English lightweight champion Giorgio Visioli (11-0, 6 KOs) will be facing former IBO champion Maxi Hughes (29-9-2, 6 KOs) for the vacant WBC International Silver lightweight title.
Before then, Shannon Ryan (11-1, 2 KOs) will be rematching Emma Dolan (9-1, 1 KO) for the female British, Commonwealth, and IBF Inter-Continental super-flyweight straps.
Also featured is an interesting super-featherweight affair between Aqib Fiaz (14-2, 2 KOs) and Jordan Flynn (13-2-1, 2 KOs), the former of whom featured in the replacement main event for the previous Smith-Puello card when he lost an exciting fight to Josh Padley for the European title.
Ibrahim Nadim (16-2, 2 KOs) will be facing Ed Hardy (8-0, 3 KOs), with Nadim having recently lost his English super-featherweight title to Ibraheem Sulaimaan (a fight also on the original Smith-Puello card).
In the last of the fights with both competitors confirmed, Joe Hayden (24-0, 4 KOs) will be putting his undefeated record on the line when he faces former Central Area welterweight titlist Will Harrison (8-1-2, 0 KOs).
The show is also set to feature appearances from 19-year-old Yorkshire heavyweight Leo Atang (8-0, 7 KOs) and unbeaten middleweight Chris Mulunda (4-0, 0 KOs).
