British boxing promoter Izzy Asif has announced GBM Sports are going international in 2026.

British boxing promoter Izzy Asif of GBM Sports has announced ‘The Heist’ boxing tournament is going international in 2026.

Backed by a brand new strategic global partnership with RYGG, a leading Australian sports medicine company – Izzy is looking to make the format a regular feature on the boxing calendar in 2026.

GBM have five shows planned so far in locations such as Dubai, Majorca, Australia, USA as well as the U.K.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with the Boxing King Media YouTube channel Izzy shared his thoughts on the new partnership and his global ambitions in 2026.

“The first ‘heist’ show was by far the most enjoyable show I’ve promoted in my four years as a promoter. With the new partnership we have in place with RYGG we’ll be taking the concept to four continents and five different countries in 2026.

“I’m so excited, this is what the fans want – they’re the paying public and without them we wouldn’t be in a position to put on any of these shows.

“I’ve had a lot of doubters but we’ve shown boxing is a sport that brings people together, I appreciate all the support and now it’s time to show everyone what we’re about.”

GBM have yet to announce dates for their events moving forward as they look to confirm a new broadcasting deal with streaming giant DAZN.

Izzy revealed he has been in negotiations with DAZN as recently as this week and believes there will be an announcement in due course.
