Eddie Hearn has took to Instagram to tease the second season of Matchroom’s Netflix documentary ‘The Greatest Showmen’.
Named ‘The Greatest Showmen’, a fly on the wall Netflix documentary following Matchroom Sport hit the screens in 2025.
It was enjoyed globally, with many finding the industries of boxing, snooker, pool and darts just so fascinating.
With the glitz and the glamour of Matchroom Boxing, many were surprised to find out that the PDC darts is actually the businesses biggest revenue stream.
It was a series that included Matchroom’s biggest boxing stars, Anthony Joshua, Katie Taylor and Conor Benn.
With Benn now leaving his lifelong promoter, there’s a space at the big table for someone else to take the Netflix limelight.
Eddie Hearn teased a major announcement via Instagram yesterday.
In a follow up, Hearn has took to Instagram to reupload season one’s trailer, with a caption stating:
“Is it time to run it back”.
Matchroom have got off to a flier in 2026, so who could be the stars of season two?
Firstly, Luke Littler and Ronnie O’Sullivan remain leaders of their respective sports, but this is a boxing page.
Anthony Joshua is signed to fight his long-standing rival Tyson Fury in the final quarter of 2026.
A behind the scenes of the biggest British boxing fight of all time would be pure entertainment.
Furthermore, Katie Taylor is set to have one final fight before retirement, as discussions continue for her beloved Croke Park to be the venue.
Another of Hearn’s high flyers is Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis.
The Philadelphian is hotly tipped to become a pound for pound star.
This summer, Ennis challenges Xander Zayas for the unified super-welterweight world titles in New York.
Whether this is the major news Eddie Hearn was hinting at yesterday is yet to be seen.
