Eddie Hearn shuts down Dana White’s claims of promoting Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua

Another week another chapter in the Eddie Hearn-Dana White saga.

Fury-Joshua, a fight over a decade in the making, is finally signed.

We’re not there yet, no date, no location, and one Anthony Joshua (29-4, 27ko’s) warmup fight are obstacles still yet to be overcome.

However, we have never been this close.

The fourth quarter of 2026 is the desired timeframe, with the mega fight set to be broadcasted globally on Netflix.

This is despite Anthony Joshua being exclusive to DAZN.

A Ring Magazine event, Eddie Hearn on team Anthony Joshua, Frank Warren and Spencer Brown in the Gypsy King’s corner, or so we thought.

UFC head honcho and now promoter of Zuffa Boxing Dana White has told Nina Drama that he will be promoting the Tyson Fury Anthony Joshua fight.

Both White and Hearn have engaged in a serious war of words since the inception of Zuffa Boxing.

Zuffa’s plan originally was to completely disregard all existing promotional outfits and governing bodies, in an attempt to replicate the UFC model.

Whilst they have had some successes, with signings like Jai Opetaia and Conor Benn, there has been serious resistance from the boxing world, especially Eddie Hearn.

Hearn, the chairman of Matchroom Boxing has responded to Dana White’s claims via Instagram.

“Such a clout chaser, not a chance and contractually impossible”.

“Let me know when you find your balls”.

Whether White was being serious or just poking another jibe at his rival is yet to be seen.

One thing for sure is that it definitely got a reaction.

Ultimately, whether its Hearn, Warren, White or Brown, all British fight fans care about is seeing Fury and Joshua share the ring, before its too late.
