The 38-year-old has one final achievement he wants to accomplish before walking away from combat sports.
Eddie Hall is set for a headline showdown with Tommy Fury on a Misfits Boxing card at Manchester’s AO Arena this Saturday.
Fury returns to the Misfits ring for the first time in three years after defeating KSI by unanimous decision in 2023.
This time, however, he faces a completely different challenge in Hall.
The former World’s Strongest Man boasts sizeable advantages in both height and weight, making him arguably the most physically imposing opponent of Fury’s career.
But while Hall’s focus remains fixed on Saturday night’s clash, the 38-year-old has already revealed he has mapped out his retirement plans.
Hall told Playbook Boxing: “In just fights in general, I think I’ve got another two years in me.
“I’m 40 in two years. I think that’s the age where any human being shouldn’t be getting hit in the head after 40.
“That’s my timeframe. And whether that gets filled with boxing, MMA, bare-knuckle, whatever.
“In essence, what I want to do is go out, put my name on the map, put a bit of money in the bank, and if I can finish on a bang, that would be a massive positive for me.”
While ‘The Beast’ insists he only plans to fight for another two years, he teased a final shot at gold before he bows out.
Eddie Hall continued: “I’ve got my eyes on a world title in KSW.
“That might possibly be my last fight… fight for a world title, win, draw or lose and just call it a day; that’ll be my last fight.”
