Dana White reveals talks with Gervonta Davis

The MMA mogul is out to assert his dominance in the sport.

Dana White has been growing his Zuffa Boxing roster over recent months.

From Conor Benn to Jai Opetaia, White is out to build a strong stable of huge names within the sport.

And now, it appears that Gervonta Davis is the latest fighter on White’s radar.

The American was previously signed with Premier Boxing Champions, but his current contract situation remains unclear.

Speaking on a potential signing, White revealed: “I do love Tank Davis.

“I’m actually a fan, and we’ve talked to them.

“I don’t want to speak for him or whatever, but I have talked to him, and I’m a fan.”

Davis’ future in boxing remains unclear after the WBA named him champion in recess following failed negotiations with mandatory challenger Floyd Schofield.

‘Tank’ has also been dealing with legal issues outside the ring, further disrupting his career.

The American has not fought since his draw with Lamont Roach last March.

Reports suggest that he may not return until 2027 once those matters are resolved.

Should Davis lace up the gloves again, it appears there’s a chance it could be under White’s Zuffa banner.
