Dana White eye’s Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua

Dana White and Zuffa Boxing plan to stage Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua in 2026 live on Netflix as they continue to take boxing by storm.

Dana White and Zuffa Boxing are continuing to make waves in the sport as they plan to stage the long-awaited clash between British heavyweight superstars Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.

Zuffa Boxing are the sports newest major promotion, and with fresh ideas on how to operate within the sport, they have certainly sent shockwaves through the industry.

They are financially supported by Turki Al Sheikh and Riyadh Season, who are believed to have a share hold of 40%.

When Dana White and TKO announced their entrance into boxing, they did not hold back in publicising how they intend to go about their business.

Zuffa Boxing plan on disregarding the sports governing bodies, the WBC, WBO, WBA, and IBF, aiming to monopolise the sport with a Zuffa Belt that symbolises the pinnacle of the sport.

In addition to this, Zuffa have stated their intention to not cooperate with other promotional outfits.

White and Zuffa are just two shows into this new venture, they have signed IBF and Ring Magazine cruiserweight champion Jai Opetaia.

Despite their long-term desire to disregard the governing bodies, Zuffa have backtracked on this initial statement as they pledge to facilitate Opetaia’s dream of becoming undisputed cruiserweight champion.

According to Boxing Scene, ‘Dana White is keen to offer the long-awaited Fury versus Anthony Joshua bout later this year with Netflix’.

Boxing Scene also believe Zuffa Boxing are set to be involved promotionally in Fury’s return to the ring against Arslanbek Makhmudov on April 11th in the United Kingdom.

There is no doubt that Zuffa Boxing and Netflix possess the financial resources required to facilitate the Fury Joshua super fight.

However, there will be plenty of obstacles to overcome for Zuffa Boxing to stage this fight.

Tyson Fury has been promoted by Frank Warren and Queensberry ever since his return to the sport after overcoming his personal problems.

Anthony Joshua is exclusive to DAZN and has signed a career long contract with Matchroom Boxing and Eddie Hearn.

Despite DAZN allowing Joshua to fight on Netflix against Jake Paul, they will not want to let a fight of this magnitude go to another broadcaster.
