Conor Benn speaks of a potential appearance in WWE.
It is likely that Conor Benn is the most popular British boxer in the world who has yet to win a major world title.
The 29-year-old gained prominence after a failed drug test in 2022, and his profile increased even further following two battles with Chris Eubank Jr. in 2025.
After signing with Zuffa Boxing earlier this year, Benn birthed a feud with Matchroom Boxing boss Eddie Hearn, his former career-long promoter.
The Zuffa contract was reportedly a one-fight deal worth $15 million, and that one fight was against American former world champion Regis Prograis.
Benn would beat Prograis on the Tyson Fury vs. Arslanbek Makhmudov undercard, after which it was revealed that he was a free agent.
Only, this would turn out to not be the case, as it was announced not long later that Benn had signed a new multi-fight deal with Zuffa.
Because of the chaotic nature of Benn’s career, he has become an extremely divisive character in the world of boxing. And recently, he has been linked to a WBC welterweight title fight with Ryan Garcia.
How this would take place with Zuffa’s opposition to the sanctioning organisations is unclear. However, presently, Benn looks to possibly be eying an appearance entirely outside of boxing.
Present for WrestleMania 42, regarding a foray into the wrestling world, Benn told Metro, “I mean, listen; sign me up. 100%. Get me in there. Most definitely. I’ll be jumpin’ off the top rope, givin’ it the elbow.”
While not sure who he would face if he were to go into wrestling, Benn named the likes of Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton, and John Cena as favourites of his.
This statement from Benn comes around the same time as Alycia Baumgardner offering to tag team with Jade Cargill, who lost her title during WrestleMania 42 the other night.
Historically, the respective sports have never been too far apart, and from the looks of things, the two worlds may be set to collide yet again.
