‘Special K’ seems to have ruffled the feathers of his compatriot in his latest claim.
Kell Brook is preparing to make his return to the ring on April 11.
The former world champion recently confirmed he will stage a special comeback bout against Eisa Al Dah, with the fight being held in honour of British boxing legend Ricky Hatton.
As Brook readies himself for his first fight in four years, speculation is mounting over whether this bout will mark a one-off return or the start of a longer comeback.
The Sheffield star had previously been linked with potential matchups against Conor Benn and Chris Eubank Jr, but his plans past April remain unknown.
Speaking to Boxing King Media, the 39-year-old was asked whether he would prefer to face Benn or Eubank Jr if offered the same purse for both fights.
‘Special K’ responded: “It doesn’t matter. They’re both going to get beat. Doesn’t matter.
“Which one’s easier? Probably Eubank. Probably Eubank…
“I think I [would] stop both of them.
“I think, you know what I mean, timing is key, and I’ve got that. I’m very experienced, and I think that I [would] find a way to halt them both before 12 rounds.”
After Brook shared his prediction for a potential clash with Conor Benn, the 29-year-old was quick to respond online.
Benn posted on X: “No you wouldn’t Ezekiel,” making it crystal clear that he strongly disagrees with the former world champion’s assessment.
Of course, the only way to settle the debate would be to lace up the gloves.
But with Benn preparing to make his Zuffa Boxing debut against Regis Prograis, the chances of it seem slim.
