Chris Eubank Jr. meets Balmoral Group Promotions CEO in Nigeria

Eubank Jr. meets up with Balmoral CEO.

Chris Eubank Jr. is, of course, the son of the legendary two-weight world champion Chris Eubank. However, as the years have gone by, Eubank Jr. has managed to craft his own legacy in the sport. In the process, he has become one of the biggest names in British boxing and headlined pay-per-view events.

In large part, this is certainly thanks to his rivalry with Conor Benn. Conor, being the son of Chris Eubank Sr.’s rival Nigel Benn, was built up as a foe for Eubank Jr.

Despite being a few weights apart, the two engaged in a pair of big affairs in 2025, with their first bout winning The Ring‘s award for the very best fight that year.

In the November rematch, Eubank Jr. came out convincingly defeated. Now aged 36, his next move since that loss has been little more than rumours and theories.

However, earlier today, he was seen visiting Nigeria and meeting up with Dr. Ezekiel Adamu.

Adamu is the founder and CEO of Balmoral Group Promotions, Nigeria’s premier boxing promotion company.

Late last year, Balmoral teamed up with AK Promotions–the promotional company of former world champion Amir Khan–to stage a fight in Lagos between Marcus Browne and Brandon Glanton.

The show was the first in a series called “Chaos in the Ring”, which they have added to with further cards since.

It is not presently known for what reason the former two-weight IBO world champion has met up with Adamu. However, it is safe to assume that it could be the precursor to some pretty big news.

This does create an interesting situation, though, given that Ben Shalom (who handled Eubank Jr. under Boxxer) recently stated Eubank Jr. is still under contract with him.

Whether the Adamu meeting will lead to q fight announcement or another piece of news, it should be very interesting to find out regardless.

Eubank Jr. could very well be looking for some opportunities in Nigeria, but that is all we know at the moment.
