Broadcaster announced for Naoya Inoue vs. Junto Nakatani

Massive undisputed fight has had its U.S. broadcaster revealed.

On the 2nd of May, the biggest all-Japanese fight in history will take place at the Tokyo Dome between two pound-for-pound fighters who are the best active boxers from their country.

Naoya Inoue will be making the 7th consecutive defence of his undisputed super-bantamweight championship against Junto Nakatani. Both men are undefeated in 32 fights each and will be appearing in their 37th combined title fight.

Given the quality of the two combatants, they have both made a big splash outside of their home country. And because of this, many boxing fans outside of Japan will be wanting to watch them square off in the ring.

However, for a while, it wasn’t known exactly what platform the bout would be shown on. As far as the Western world was concerned, at least.

But that is no longer the case, for we now have confirmation of who will be broadcasting the blockbuster bout.

The broadcaster will be DAZN, who will be streaming the bout live in the United States. It isn’t currently known if the fight will be pay-per-view or at no extra cost, and it’s also not clear whether DAZN will also be streaming it in other territories like the United Kingdom.

But whatever the case, this makes a brilliant and historic fight far more accessible to those who don’t happen to live in Japan, where the contest will be shown on Lemino (a video-on-demand streaming service).

And with an event of this magnitude, all eyes who wish to watch should very much have the ability to.
