After a decade of verbal back-and-forth, the pair are set to lock horns.
Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua are finally set to settle their rivalry on December 11 at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.
However, their blockbuster showdown has faced significant uncertainty in recent months.
Now, the fight’s launch press conference is scheduled for Wednesday evening in London.
Joshua had threatened to boycott the event unless Fury registered with the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA).
The 36-year-old had included a clause requiring both fighters to enter the testing pool.
That agreement was made after they signed contracts with Turki Alalshikh earlier this year.
However, Fury’s camp argued that testing was not required until the fight was officially signed off.
According to The Sun, as of Monday Fury has now joined the testing pool.
The update follows Eddie Hearn’s statement to assembled media two weeks ago: “The drug testing protocol was the same as what has always been in there.
“It wasn’t adhered to in its form. I don’t actually necessarily blame Tyson Fury for that.
“As we’ve found out on many occasions, what’s in AJ’s contract is not necessarily in Tyson Fury’s contract.
“Testing was supposed to start when the original contracts were signed, and it didn’t for them.
“And I don’t think [Fury] had in his contract that it had to start then.
“So this is not me saying, ‘he didn’t enrol.’
“I don’t think he was obligated to enrol [in his contract]. But in our contract he was obligated to enrol.”
