Anthony Joshua purchases famous Prince Naseem Hamed heavy bag for his camp with team Usyk

Anthony Joshua has purchased a piece of legendary equipment from Dominic Ingle for his and Oleksandr Usyk’s camp in Spain.

Anthony Joshua (29-4, 27ko’s) has made a limited edition purchase for his training camp in Gandia, Spain.

The man from Watford has had a number of trainers throughout an illustrious career.

As the two time unified heavyweight champion of the world enters the final chapter, he seems at home in camp with the team of his former opponent.

AJ teamed up with Team Oleksandr Usyk in 2025.

As Joshua gears up for a return to training camp, career long promoter Eddie Hearn has revealed that Joshua will continue in camp with Team Usyk.

After Oleksandr Usyk (24-0, 15ko’s) defeated Anthony Joshua twice, a friendship and immense respect between the two blossomed.

Subsequently, the pair will now both be in camp simultaneously in Spain.

In 2025, Joshua contacted legendary trainer Dominic Ingle over a piece of valuable equipment, specifically a famous heavy bag used by Prince Naseem Hamed.

Speaking exclusively to Boxing King Media, Dominic Ingle explained how the remarkable story came about.

Ingle stated: “I got a message from a woman asking for the exact bag for her boss, but I said they can’t have it because of the sentimental meaning”.

“I said who’s your boss, she said Anthony Joshua”.

“So I said yes he can have the bag, just make a donation to the amateur boxing club we have”.

“He made a good donation, and the bag was collected the other day, he’s asked for four more”.

Oleksandr Usyk will face Rico Verhoeven (1-0, 1ko) at the Pyramids of Giza, Egypt, controversially for the WBC heavyweight title.

Anthony Joshua is believed to have just entered training camp for the first time since the tragic events in Nigeria last December.
