Wardley vs. Dubois undercard strengthened by further names.
On the 9th of May, there will be a titanic clash in Manchester between two heavyweight bangers for the WBO world championship.
Fabio Wardley and Daniel Dubois will collide head-on in a violent and volatile grudge match of intensely awesome proportions.
Some favour Dubois, the vulnerable heavy-hitter. Others favour Wardley, the blood-and-guts warrior with an explosive charge in both fists.
Whatever happens–whoever wins–it’s a pairing that could only promise carnage in its most pure and uncensored form, a two-man war between two one-man armies.
But apart from that, there is also a stellar undercard that includes Jared Anderson vs. Solomon Dacres and Jack Rafferty vs. Ekow Essuman, the latter of which would be all but guaranteed to steal the show on any occasion were it not for this particular main event.
But in addition, there have now been an array of names confirmed to appear on the show, taking up the preliminary portion of the card.
The first of these is Ramtin Musah (1-0, 0 KOs), a Ghana-born amateur standout representing Cheshire who made his professional debut last year at the same venue he will be fighting in for his second fight.
Next is Mike Pérez (31-3-1 (1), 22 KOs), a Cuban former title challenger at cruiserweight who stopped Steven Ward on the Fabio Wardley vs. Justis Huni undercard in June of 2025.
Also on the card is Bobbi ‘The Flash’ Flood (1-0, 1 KO), an Irishman who impressed in his professional debut on the Jazza Dickens vs. Anthony Cacace undercard less than a month ago.
The show will also feature the appearance of Javokhir Ummataliev (1-0, 0 KOs), an Uzbekistani light-heavyweight. And lastly, Issiah Hamilton-Allen (1-0, 0 KOs) will be making his second professional appearance on the show.
While nothing is for certain in boxing, it’s practically a given that Wardley vs. Dubois will deliver in the best possible way. Years from now, it could very well be spoken about as a you-had-to-be-there moment.
The night two British punchers will duke it out for the heavyweight championship of the world.
